We cannot stress enough how great our experience was with sound express! Our DJ was Alex and he was amazing. From the start he was super helpful and helped guide us in terms of our timeline and what kind of music we were looking for. He was also very patient with us as my husband emailed him daily with new songs that MUST be played at the wedding. During the wedding, his commentary was GREAT and it was very natural which helped the wedding run extremely smooth. The music he played was also outstanding. Every song played was better than the last and everyone stayed on the dance floor literally the entire night to the point where our guests were screaming “encore” after he played his last song. He was extremely good at reading the room and knowing exactly what song to play to keep the energy up and the crowd dancing. Towards the end of the night after the drinks were flowing, he did a “sing a long” portion and played the typical songs that everyone loves to sing too which was a huge hit. All of our guests were raving about the DJ the next day saying it was the best music they have ever had a wedding. Our wedding was truly a blast and a huge reason for that was because of our DJ!! We also rented the mirror photo booth which was a great add on! It was something that our guests haven’t seen before and they had a lot of fun with it.

Alex from Sound Express was a better DJ and entertainer than I could have hoped for! Throughout the whole process he was really easy going and fun to work with. He simply listened to what I asked for and made it happen even the last minute details. What really made my reception was when he played ‘Let It Go’ for the little girls. Seeing them dance made everyone’s night it was a great moment.

If you want a DJ that will get everyone on the dance floor and entertain all your guests, hire them!! Alex came all the way to Fair Haven at Collocas winery for our wedding day and did not disappoint! Starting with the outdoor ceremony he set up everything in a field then moved everything back inside for the reception seamlessly! We had our favorite tv show theme songs as intros for our bridal party and of course The Office theme song for our entrance and he did not miss a beat. He had everyone on their feet cheering and waving napkins and that was only the start. We then played games that everyone loved and weren’t corny at all like some weddings I’ve seen. Everyone was laughing and having SUCH an amazing time, I got the greatest photos from these games and the most amazing memories of my loved ones running around or participating in a kick line to “New York, New York”, people still rave about our wedding and it was all thanks to him!

Where do I begin?!? Words can't express how AMAZING Sound Express was! Alex was our DJ and life of the party! They were so quick through email with any questions etc. They were always excited! They made it so easy and they were so organized throughout the whole planning process. No one wanted to leave the dancefloor! The photobooth was also a hit people couldn't stop talking about them! The light up was on point, and our monogram! Everything was perfect! They Kick Ass and we felt like we have known them forever.I highly highly recommend Sound Express!! Forever our DJ!! We are so happy!! They made our day even more perfect than I could imagine, every song from ceremony to the last song of the night was extraordinary!! Thank you sooo much!! Xo

Alex with Sound Express was absolutely incredible. He was easy to work with and easy to get ahold of. He showed up early to the reception and made sure everyone was happy with the music. He kept the party going all day and night, he was even nice enough to stay a little extra longer to show some of the lit guests how to dj. 5/5, would always recommend!!

I cannot say enough about how amazing Sound Express was at my husband and I's wedding back in May of 2025 at the Belhurst Castle on Seneca Lake, NY! They are a Rochester area DJ group that went above and beyond. We had meetings before hand and contact as much as needed to make sure everything was perfect before the big day. They were able to accommodate our large wedding party and introductions and all the classics that we requested. We also had their Photo Booth at the reception and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved using it and for us being able to see all the pictures online after the fact was a huge bonus! Do yourselves a favor and go with these guys for your wedding or event I promise you won't be disappointed! Our DJ was Alex Forrest and he was absolutely incredible!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Absolutely amazing experience with Sound Express Entertainment Group! We’ve had the pleasure of working with DJ Alex and our expectations were far exceeded.

We knew our wedding reception at Tony D’s was going to be nice but the uplighting and cold sparklers that Sound Express provided really up leveled the whole vibe. Plus, their digital Photo Booth was a HUGE hit with our guests and we loved that we were able to make short videos/boomerangs with it!

If you think you don’t want to play games… think again. Everyone NEEDS to do the Dollar Game, they had everyone laughing and fully involved, and when it was time to dance, the floor was packed all night long. The energy, music choices, and ability to read the crowd really set the tone and made the event unforgettable. Dave W and Alex are professional, attentive, fun, and incredibly engaging. Highly recommend Sound Express Entertainment Group if you want an event people will be talking about long after it’s over!
